Work in progress

What if an insulin pump could be a premium accessory that seamlessly integrates into your daily life?

Current problem 01

Social Stigma & Device Visibility

Visible diabetes devices can draw unwanted attention, leading to social stigma and self-consciousness, particularly among younger users. This often discourages consistent use or prompts disabling essential features like alarms, impacting diabetes management.

Users insight & Product Research

Advanced Tech, Unattractive Look

I conducted user interviews and showcased various CMF options to capture their emotional reactions. While many appreciated the advanced technology, the clinical design of current devices was off-putting. Even those who felt comfortable with their devices and valued their community expressed a desire for a more stylish, refined look to boost broader acceptance.

Rapid prototyping evaluation

Through rapid prototyping, I 3D printed various proportions and forms to evaluate the sensorial feedback of interacting with the pod.

By replicating key moments from the user journey, I gained valuable insights to refine the design, ensuring each interaction feels intuitive and seamless.
